The Mile Marker power steering pump hydraulic winch can be purchased in either the H series or HI series. Both systems use a solenoid directional control valve to re-direct the power steering fluid to rotate the winch prior to being distributed to the steering gear box. the H Series uses a separate solenoid remotely mounted from the winch. The HI Series solenoid is integrated into the winch.
