ProComp Tailshaft Conversions for 96-06 Jeep YJ Wrangler

This short shaft or slip yoke eliminator kit shortens the T-case allowing you to run a 4" longer CV style drive shaft. Combined with a CV style drive shaft (sold separately) it helps eliminate driveline vibration and friction from the factory slip yoke design. It also improves driveline angles and eliminates, in most cases the need for a transfer case lowering kit. Ground clearance is improved since the skid pan is not lowered. The new main shaft is close to 20% larger than factory and can take the added torque of 4 to 1 conversions, additional horsepower and larger tires. The kit fits all 231 equipped YJ's and TJ's. It also fits XJ's with manual transmissions.
